Auburn looked like a playoff contender in the early stages of the season, but the Tigers lost three of their last four to finish 8-4 on the season and 4-4 in the SEC. The Tigers were just 4-8 against the spread on the season and they have failed to cover in their last four games. One area of strength has been hitting the over, as Auburn has done so in four of their last six games.

Wisconsin has looked very strong at times, but then very poor others. The Badgers had a seven-game win streak snapped in the Big Ten Championship in an embarrassing 59-0 loss to Ohio State. The Badgers were just 5-8 against the spread this season and they were 0-3 ATS in their last three games while pushing or hitting the over in their last four.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Auburn is favored in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -7 points against the Badgers. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 63.5 points (View Matchup). These two last met in 2006 with Wisconsin getting a 24-10 victory despite being a 10-point underdog.

Both teams have powerful offenses attacks, especially on the ground. The Badgers come in averaging 314 yards per game on the ground while Auburn tallies 258.9 rushing yards per game. The key could be in the ability to stop the run, which Wisconsin has done better, allowing only 118.9 yards per game. Auburn will have to stop Melvin Gordon, who was a Heisman finalist this year after rushing for 2,336 yards and 26 touchdowns. Wisconsin will have to limit Cameron Artis-Payne, who rushed for 1,482 yards and 11 scores.
