Baylor Bears Game Notes
Blake Shapen completed 18 of 36 passes for 179 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Friday’s 38-27 loss against Texas. He also had seven rushes for zero yards. Shapen ended the regular season with at least one interception thrown in four straight games. The signal caller struggled with turnovers in his sophomore season with 10 interceptions and three lost fumbles. His 18 total scores, 16 through the air and two on the ground, were not enough for Baylor to avoid a relatively underwhelming season with a 6-6 record. Either way, they are still bowl-eligible and Shapen will likely have one more chance to end the season when they find out their bowl assignment.
Air Force Falcons Game Notes
Brad Roberts recorded 35 carries for 187 yards and one touchdown during Saturday’s 13-3 win versus San Diego State. In his final regular season game, Roberts rushed for a career-high in yards with 187. He scored the only touchdown of the game and brought his season totals to 1,612 yards and 15 touchdowns.
