According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Baylor is favored by 7 points in tonight’s game with Kansas State at 7:45PM ET on ESPN (View Matchup). The over/under total for the game is listed at 66.5 points.
The odds for this game didn’t come out until mid-week because of the injury questions to Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty, who will play. The opening line had Baylor favored by 8 points. The spread was never higher than that and is currently at its low with the Bears favored by 7. Baylor has been favored in the last four meetings with Kansas State, but it has failed to cover in the last two where it was favored by less than double digits. The Bears are just 2-4 against the spread in their last six games overall.
The over/under total hasn’t budged since opening at 66.5 points. This is the lowest total these two have had since the 2011 meeting, which was 64. These two have hit the over in four of their last five meetings. This is the highest total Kansas State has had since it met Texas Tech on Oct. 4. This is the lowest total Baylor has had since facing Kansas on Nov. 1.
