Notre Dame Fighting Irish Game Notes
Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman said Tyler Buchner (shoulder) is participating in some parts of practice but didn’t adjust his January return timetable, Patrick Engel of Rivals.com reports. It still seems likely that Buchner will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season with a shoulder injury. However, Buchner’s limited practice participation is a good sign that the sophomore quarterback will be able to have a full offseason of practice before next season.
