Bowling Green vs. Michigan Prediction
After throttling overmatched East Carolina and UNLV over the last two weeks, No. 2 Michigan has yet to be tested. The Wolverines have also yet to cover and they’re another huge favorite on Saturday against Bowling Green at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night. Will Michigan cover this time around?

Bowling Green Falcons Game Notes
Connor Bazelak went 23-for-28 for 319 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions., along with seven rushing yards, against Eastern Illinois on Saturday. After a rough outing against Liberty in the season opener, an expected rebound for Bazelak against an easy opponent. A shift back to the tough side is coming next week against Michigan.
Michigan Wolverines Game Notes
J.J. McCarthy was 22-for-25 passing for 278 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday’s 35-7 victory against UNLV. He also had three rushes for 38 yards. McCarthy continued to cruise through Michigan’s extremely weak non-conference slate, as he’s now gone 48-for-55 passing for 558 yards and five touchdowns over the first two weeks of the season. The junior signal-caller has grabbed an early lead atop the Big Ten’s most productive passers this season. While the Wolverines have not had to face the most difficult competition, the team’s season-long schedule shapes up favorably enough that McCarthy should continue to net impressive statistics moving forward.

Bowling Green vs. Michigan Betting Prediction
Give me the under. I don’t trust Bowling Green to score and thus, not to get trounced, but I also don’t trust Michigan to actual throttle an overmatched opponent because it has yet to do so in 2023. East Carolina and UNLV couldn’t move the ball at the Big House, but the Wolverines also settled for efficiency over big plays and boot-stomping opponents they were superior over. Thus, tonight I’ll bank on the Falcons struggling to put any points on the board and the Wolverines settling for coasting in the second half.
