Bowling Green on a skid
After winning its opening game of the season, Bowling Green has lost three straight, including a 62-20 loss at Kent State two weeks ago. The Falcons are 1-3 on the season, 1-3 against the spread and 3-1 with the under.
Usually known for being an offensive power of a MAC squad, Bowling Green has struggled on offense this year. The Falcons are averaging 18.3 points and 352.5 yards per game while the defense is allowing 38 points and 448.5 yards per contest. Darius Wade is leading the offense with 664 passing yards and three touchdowns while Quintin Morris has 16 receptions for 218 yards. Davon Jones is the team’s leading rusher with 205 yards and a score.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are coming off a 35-20 win over Virginia at home last weekend to bounce back from its loss at Georgia. The Irish are now 3-1 on the season, 3-1 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total.
Notre Dame has a pretty solid defense, allowing just 18.5 points and 355.8 yards per game this year. The offense is putting up 38.3 points and 414.3 yards per contest. Ian Book has thrown for 993 yards and eight touchdowns while rushing for 134 yards and two scores. College Football Betting Trends
Bowling Green
The Falcons are 8-1 with the under in their last nine games on fieldturf, but 8-2 with the over in their last 10 games in October.
Notre Dame
Notre Dame is 5-2 with the under in their last seven games overall and 4-1 with the under in their last five games following a win.
Prediction:
Notre Dame is probably going to have a conservative approach to this game. I would anticipate the Irish resting any players with minor injuries, as Bowling Green shouldn’t be much of a threat. The BG offense has only scored 30 points for the year, so the ND defense should lock them down with ease. I think the Irish can score relatively easily, but I don’t see them putting up 50+ points to hit the over. Bowling Green just won’t score enough to help the total.
College Football Week 6 Prediction: Bowling Green/Notre Dame Under 60.5
