Bowling Green vs. Toledo Prediction
The last MAC game to kick off on Wednesday night will be in Toledo where the Rockets will host the Bowling Green Falcons at 8:00 p.m. ET. Are 23 points too much to lay on the home team or is there perhaps a better play with the underdog or with the total?

Bowling Green Falcons Game Notes
Bowling Green redshirt junior QB Matt McDonald will start the team’s season opener against Toledo on November 4. McDonald (6’3″/215) transferred from Boston College in May of 2019 and won the starting quarterback job in camp, however he was not granted the eligibility waiver he applied for and had to sit out the entire season. The three-star signal caller from Mission Viejo, CA was rated the 54th best pro-style quarterback from the 2017 prep class. Former BC OC Scott Loeffler recruited coming out of high school and is now the HC at BG. His hand-picked starter will lead the Falcons against Toledo on November 4.
Toledo Rockets Game Notes
Toledo senior QB Eli Peters was listed first on the team’s latest depth chart. Toledo HC Jason Candle placed Peters (6’2/200) first on the list of QB’s but couched the decision by including the dreaded “or” alongside number two quarterback Carter Bradley, as well as third-stringer Dequan Finn. It’s a familiar example of depth chart gamesmanship that we’ve seen from numerous other programs. Accordingly, all three wide receiver positions also included the “or” caveat to the two-deep. It appears that the senior signal caller has earned the opportunity to take the first snaps next Wednesday when Toledo hosts Bowling Green in their season opener.
