According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Oklahoma is favored in this playoff game, as the Sooners are getting odds of -4 points against Clemson. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 63.5 points. These two meet today at 4PM ET on ESPN. The game will be held from Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL.

Mayfield was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country in 2015. The 6-2 junior threw for 3,389 yards with 35 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions. He also completed 68.6 percent of his passes while adding 420 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. The Texas Tech transfer gave Oklahoma (11-1, 9-3 ATS) the boost it needed under center to make a run to the Big 12 championship.

Today, Mayfield and the Sooners face Clemson (13-0, 6-7 ATS) in the playoff semifinal. Known for an explosive offense, Clemson actually has a pretty good defense that allows just 20.2 points and 166.9 passing yards per game this season. Still, oddsmakers have given Mayfield some lofty numbers to hit tonight. His over/under for passing yards is set at 287.5, while his over/under for TD passes is listed at 2.5. Mayfield has only hit 288 yards or more in five games this season, but he has had 3 TD passes or more in eight games. The Tigers have only allowed 16 total touchdown passes this season, so Mayfield could be in for a long day if the Sooners aren’t prepared for what the Clemson defense offers.
