According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Alabama is the favorite at home, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -6.5 points against LSU. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 47.5 points. Alabama has won four straight over LSU, covering the spread in three of those four victories. These two have hit the under in five of their last six meetings.

Alabama is 7-1 on the season, 4-1 in the SEC, 3-5 against the spread and 5-3 with the under. The Tide is coming off a bye week, but they have won five straight coming into this game. Alabama allows just 16.4 points and 275.8 yards per game on offense, while the offense is putting up 33.5 points and 421.9 yards per contest. Alabama is led by Derrick Henry, who has rushed for 1,044 yards and 14 touchdowns while Jake Coker has thrown for 1,623 yards and 11 touchdowns. Calvin Ridley is the leading receiver with 45 catches for 525 yards and three scores.

LSU is 7-0 on the year, 4-0 in the SEC, 4-3 against the spread and 6-1 with the over. The Tigers are coming off a bye as well, but had a 48-20 win over Western Kentucky prior to that. LSU is giving up 22.6 points and 315.9 yards per game on defense while putting up 38.9 points and 466 yards per game on offense. LSU is led by stud running back Leonard Fournette, who has run for 1,352 yards and 15 touchdowns. Brandon Harris has added 1,098 passing yards with nine touchdowns while Travin Dural has added 24 receptions for 426 yards and two scores.
