Both teams come into this game at 1-0 overall and 1-0 against the spread. Central Florida picked up a 56-14 win at Akron last week while Ohio State defeated Miami (Ohio) 56-10 at home. This is the first meeting between these two teams.

Ohio State opened the year with a 56-10 win over Miami (Ohio). The Buckeyes actually trailed 3-0 after the first quarter, but then the offense found its groove. Quarterback Braxton Miller had 207 passing yards with two scores and 161 rushing yards with a touchdown to lead the offense. Ohio State finished with 538 total yards of offense while the defense held Miami to 312 total yards and forced three turnovers.
Central Florida picked up a nice win on the road last Saturday. The Knights dominated Akron, 56-14. UCF forced four turnovers on defense and held Akron to 325 yards while posting 386 total yards of offense. Quarterback Blake Bortles threw for 168 yards and three scores on 13-of-16 passing. Latavius Murray rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown in the win but suffered a shoulder injury in the process and is unavailable for this game.
In terms of Injuries, Ohio State linebacker Storm Klein will be suspended for this game while running back Jordan Hall is doubtful for the game due to a foot injury. UCF running back Latavius Murray is out with a shoulder injury.
