OUR PICK: The Huskies had one of the best defenses in the nation last season and return most of their players on its two-deep roster. But Chris Petersen also has plenty of firepower returning on offense and now that quarterback Jake Browning received all of that playing time as a freshman last year, he should be even better this season. Rutgers had a horrible secondary a year ago and it’s unlikely that the Scarlet Knights improved much in that area. That means plenty of big plays for Washington today, and plenty of points for ‘over’ bettors.
