UCLA vs. Texas A&M Pick
Will the UCLA Bruins pull off the small upset today in College Station when they take on the Texas A&M Aggies at 3:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Aggies are 3-point home favorites versus the Bruins while the over/under currently sits at 53 points. Both the side and total have moved off the original numbers, as Texas A&M opened as a 2-point favorite before the line was bet up, and the total opened at 56.5 before the line was bet down.

UCLA was inconsistent last season for bettors. The Bruins were 6-7 against the spread in their 13 games, winning by an average margin of 6.8 points per game. As an underdog, they were 0-2 at the betting window, losing by an average margin of 20 points per game. Jim Mora’s team was also inconsistent in non-conference play as well, going 2-2 against the spread. (Here’s why we predicted this game to fall under earlier this week.)
How did the Aggies fare at the betting window last season? Not well. A&M went 5-8 against the spread in 2015, winning by an average of just 5.8 points per game. They were 5-4 against the number as a favorite in 2015, but just 2-4 against the spread as a home favorite, winning by a margin of 13.0 points per game.

OUR PICK: The Bruins’ biggest strength comes at quarterback, where Josh Rosen is no longer a freshman and is now operating a system that will highlight some of his strengths as a pro-style quarterback. UCLA also has one of the best defensive backfields in the country, so it will be difficult for A&M to gain big plays today at home. Myles Garrett will be a handful for the Bruins all afternoon and this game will be tight. But I like the Bruins to keep the score within a field goal, if not win outright.
