CFB Week 2 Predictions: Troy Trojans vs. Clemson Tigers 9/10/16

Troy vs. Clemson Prediction

After failing to cover last Saturday at Auburn, will Clemson reward backers this weekend when the Tigers host Troy at 12:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Tigers are a 36-point home favorite this Saturday versus the Trojans after beating Auburn, 19-13. Clemson failed to cover as an 8-point favorite in that game, but it was still a hard fought victory nonetheless.

OUR EARLY PICK: Troy has been a good road play in recent history, covering in five of its lat six road games overall and going 4-1 ATS in its last five road games versus a team with a  winning home record. The Trojans are also 7-3 against the number versus a team with a winning record and are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games following an ATS loss. Clemson isn’t Austin Peay, but any team that racks up 706 yards of total offense in one game shouldn’t be taken lightly. The Trojans should stay within the 36 points.
