Alabama covered easily over USC as a 13.5-point favorite at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

OUR EARLY PICK: Western Kentucky was impressive in its opener but Rice wasn’t the same challenge that ‘Bama will be on Saturday. The thing you worry about as a Tide backer is Nick Saban’s team coming off the USC win flat. That said, Saban already laid the groundwork to avoiding a letdown this week when he said that he was thrilled with how his team played versus USC. Plus, with this being the Tide’s home opener, one would think they would be plenty fired up.
