Tyler Scott announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he’s decided to opt out of Cincinnati’s bowl game against Louisville on Dec. 17 and instead prepare for the 2023 NFL Draft. Scott is now slated to enter the pros with 88 receptions, 1,439 yards and 14 touchdowns on his resume across the last three seasons. The Ohio-native ranked No. 7 in receiving yards (899) and tied for No. 3 in receiving touchdowns (9) in the AAC this past campaign.
Louisville Cardinals Game Notes
Malik Cunningham has announced, via his personal Twitter page, that he has entered the 2023 NFL Draft. Cunningham has decided to opt out of Louisville’s bowl game against Cincinnati on Dec. 17, and he will begin preparing for the NFL combine. The 6-foot-1 senior quarterback appeared in 46 games during his time with the Cardinals throwing for 9,187 yards (651-of-1,037), 69 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions. His main draw for NFL scouts will be his dual-threat capabilities, as the senior quarterback rushed for 2,687 yards and a whopping 45 touchdowns during his collegiate career.
