Clemson moves into Top 10
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – This is one football Clemson coach Dabo Swinney won’t ever let go.
Tight end Dwayne Allen gave Swinney a game ball to Swinney on behalf of the players after No. 8 Clemson defeated Virginia Tech 23-3 on Saturday. It was a very well deserved honor considering the Tigers’ run this season.

Clemson (5-0, 2-0 ACC) became the first Atlantic Coast Conference team to ever defeat three straight top 25 opponents with wins against Auburn and Florida State coming before the Hokies victory.
The Tigers have gone from a team filled with questions to one of the hottest in the country – and in the drivers’ seat of the ACC Atlantic Division.
Clemson is ranked in the top 10 for the first time since the 2008 preseason poll.
