Clemson has won nine straight true road games, which is the third-longest active streak in the FBS behind only Alabama, who has 11, and Oklahoma, who has 10. With a win, the Tigers will clinch a spot in the ACC Championship Game. If Clemson is going to win, quarterback DeShaun Watson needs to avoid turning the ball over. He has thrown 26 interceptions since the start of last season, which is more than any other player in the FBS.
Wake Forest has lost 55 straight games to teams ranked in the top 10 of the AP Poll, with its last such win coming back in 1946 against No. 4 Tennessee. According to ESPN.com, the Demon Deacons’ 1-57 all-time record against top 10 teams is the worst such win percentage in FBS history (minimum of 30 such games). Clemson is currently ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll this week.

OUR PREDICTION: Clemson should win but it might have trouble covering. The Demon Deacons are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall and have covered in four straight conference games. They’re also 5-2 at the betting window in their last seven games coming off a loss and are 4-1 ATS in their last five games in November. Clemson, meanwhile, is just 1-5 at the betting window in its last six games played in November and is 2-5-1 against the spread in its last eight trips to Winston-Salem.
