2012-13 SEC Odds to Win
(The Spread) – After the two programs battled in the national championship last year, it’s not surprising to see that oddsmakers favor Alabama and LSU to win the SEC.
Both Alabama and LSU are currently 11/5 favorites to win the SEC this season, while Georgia has comparable odds at 11/2. Arkansas is 7/1 to win the conference, South Carolina is 10/1 and Florida is 12/1. Auburn, meanwhile, is 22/1, Mississippi State is 30/1 and both Missouri and Tennessee are 35/1, respectively.
Continuing with the odds, SEC newcomer Texas A&M is 40/1 to win the conference this season while Vanderbilt is 60/1. The two long shots to win the conference right now are Kentucky and Mississippi, which are both 100/1 to win the SEC, respectively.

Georgia is also currently favored to win the East Division at 17/10 odds, while South Carolina has the next best odds at 5/2. Florida is 3/1 to win the SEC East, while Missouri and Tennessee are both 11/1, respectively. Vanderbilt, meanwhile, is 16/1 to win the SEC East while Kentucky is the current long shot at 25/1.
In the SEC West, Alabama and LSU are both 8/5 to win respectively, while Arkansas is 4/1. Auburn is 12/1 to win the SEC West while Mississippi State is 15/1 and Texas A&M is 20/1. Ole Miss is a massive long shot to win the division this year at 50/1.
Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is one of the players to watch this season in the SEC. He has 15/1 odds to win the Heisman Trophy, while South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore has the same odds. Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson has 16/1 odds to win the Heisman while Alabama signal caller A.J. McCarron is 20/1. LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieau is 35/1 to win the Heisman this year while Missouri quarterback is James Franklin.
