Alabama Betting Trends

The Crimson Tide are 5-0 against the spread in their last five road games, are 6-1 against the number in their last seven conference games, and are 4-0 at the betting window in their last four road games versus a team with a winning home record. That said, they’re just 2-5 against the spread after winning their previous contest.

Vanderbilt Betting Trends

The Commodores have been a good bet in the SEC, covering in four of their last five conference games. They’re also 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 games in September and have covered in six of their last seven games versus a team with a winning record.

OUR PREDICTION: I’m going to roll the dice on Vandy here. The Commodore defense has been steady under coach Derek Mason and Alabama has yet to find its rhythm offensively. While the Crimson Tide defense will be the best the Commodores see all season, Vandy also has a quarterback in Kyle Shurmur that is completing 71 percent of his passes this season. He also has eight touchdowns without throwing an interception in 69 pass attempts. I like dogs that are competitive and Vanderbilt fits the bill, even though I’m hesitant in fading Alabama.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 4 PREDICTION: VANDERBILT COMMODORES +18.5
