CFB Championship Week Vegas Odds
The College Football Season has some major matchups in Championship Week of the season. Here is a look at what Vegas thinks of this week’s games.
The featured game this week is the ACC Championship Game on Saturday at 8PM ET, which feels like it is a playoff elimination game. Saturday’s contest features No. 1 Clemson taking on No. 7 Miami from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Clemson is the clear favorite in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -8.5 points against Miami. Both teams were 7-1 in the ACC, winning their respective divisions. Miami is 10-1 on the season and 5-6 against the spread while Clemson is 11-1 overall and 7-4-1 against the spread. Clemson has won three of the last five meetings with Miami and the Tigers are 4-1 against the spread in those five games.
Another big game this week is the SEC Championship Game, which will take place on Saturday at 4PM ET from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game features No. 4 Auburn facing No. 7 Georgia. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Auburn is opening as a 2.5-point favorite against the Bulldogs. These two met a few weeks ago at Auburn and the Tigers earned a 40-17 win as a 2.5-point underdog. Auburn is 10-2 on the season, 7-1 in the SEC and 6-4-2 against the spread. Georgia is 11-1 overall, 5-1 on the road and 8-4 against the spread. Prior to the loss a few weeks ago, Georgia had won and covered the spread in three straight meetings with Auburn.
