According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, North Carolina is the favorite in today’s game, as the Tar Heels are getting odds of -5.5 points against N.C. State. The over/under total for the game has been set at 65.5 points. These two meet today at 3:30PM ET on ABC.

The Tar Heels come into today’s game at 10-1 on the season 7-0 in the ACC. They have already locked up a spot in next week’s ACC title game against Clemson, which opens the door open slightly for a run to the playoffs if they can win the next two weeks and get some help. Oddsmakers don’t like their chances, as they list UNC with 45/1 odds to win the national title this season, but it’s probably still on the minds of UNC nation.

Since a loss to South Carolina to start the season, UNC hasn’t lost and it is 10-3 against the spread on this 10-game win streak. The Heels have the 10th-ranked scoring offense, putting up 40.9 yards per game. Marquise Williams has led the way with 2,427 passing yards and 17 touchdowns while Elijah Hood has run for 1,060 yards and 14 scores. One area of weakness for UNC has been its run defense, which gives up nearly 200 yards per game. That could be an issue against N.C. State (7-4, 3-4 ACC, 6-5 ATS), as the Wolf Pack average 192.3 yards per game on the ground. Matt Dayes, who has 865 yards and 12 scores this season, could be in line for a big day for N.C. State.
