According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Alabama is currently favored in this championship game, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -6.5 points against Clemson. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 50.5 points. These two meet tonight at 8:30PM ET on ESPN from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

The public betting for tonight’s championship game is siding with Alabama. The Crimson Tide are currently getting 63 percent of the wagers as a 6.5-point favorite against the Tigers tonight. Alabama comes into this game 8-6 against the spread while Clemson is 7-7 against the spread.

Alabama has been on a tear as of late, going 5-1 against the spread in their last six games. The Tide have also covered the spread in their last five games with a spread of 10 points or less. Clemson has covered the spread in its last two, but the Tigers aren’t often an underdog. The semifinal against Oklahoma was the first time Clemson was an underdog this season and it led to a win. They were 4-2 ATS in single-digit spreads this season.
