Updated Playoff Championship Odds

With the first two college football weeks in the book, here’s an updated look at the odds to win the College Football Playoffs this season.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Alabama is favored to win the championship right now, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of 9/2 to win. Other short odds to prevail right now are Florida State (13/2), Ohio State (7/1) and Clemson (15/2).

Alabama is off to a 2-0 start this season with a 52-6 win over USC and a 38-10 win over Western Kentucky. The Tide have a big game this week, playing Ole Miss on the road. They also have tough games ahead against Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU and Auburn.

Florida State is off to a 2-0 start as well, beating Ole Miss 45-34 and Charleston Southern 52-8. The Seminoles have a big game this week against Louisville and still have dates with North Carolina, Miami, Clemson and Florida.

Ohio State is 2-0, with a 77-10 win over Bowling Green and a 48-3 win over Tulsa. The Buckeyes hit the road to face Oklahoma this week while also facing Wisconsin, Michigan and Michigan State.

Clemson is 2-0, but has been challenged in both games. The Tigers beat Auburn 19-13 and Troy 30-24. Clemson will host South Carolina State this week, but has games with Georgia Tech, Louisville, Florida State, Pitt and South Carolina still ahead.
