CFB Playoff matchups set
The College Football Playoffs are set and the odds are already out for the two semifinal games.
The matchups were announced just minutes ago and it will be No. 1 Clemson taking on No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl while No. 2 Alabama meets No. 3 Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl. Both games take place on Dec. 31.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Alabama opens up as the clear favorite against MSU, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -9.5 points against Michigan State. In the other game, Oklahoma has actually opened as the favorite, getting odds of -2.5 points against Clemson.
Alabama is 12-1 on the season and the SEC Champion. The Crimson Tide are 7-6 against the spread. Michigan State is 12-1 on the season and the Big Ten Champion. The Spartans are just 5-7-1 against the spread this season.
Clemson went a perfect 13-0 this season, winning the ACC Championship in the process. The Tigers were 6-7 against the spread. Oklahoma was 11-1 this season and the Big 12 champion. The Sooners were 9-3 against the spread.
