Bet on Central Michigan vs. Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State had an easy time in its opener, beating Southeastern Louisiana 61-7. The Cowboys covered the 49-point spread while going over the total of 63 points. Oklahoma State has hit the over in seven of its last eight games. In the win last week, the Cowboys actually had under 400 yards, but created four turnovers to set up some easy scores on short-yardage situations. Mason Rudolph threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense while the team ran for 144 yards. Defensively, Oklahoma State held Southeastern Louisiana to 97 rushing yards on 46 carries.

Central Michigan kicked off the 2016 season last Thursday with a 49-3 win over Presbyterian. The Chippewas covered a 37.5-point spread while hitting the over for the third time in their last four games. CMU dominated defensively in the win, holding their opponent to just 126 total yards and only 44 rushing yards. The offense finished with 492 yards, including 255 rushing. Senior QB Cooper Rush threw for 237 yards while Devon Spalding rushed for 135 yards and a score. Jonathan Ward added 79 yards on seven carries.

These two grinded out a game at Central Michigan last year, but things should be a little different in Stillwater. Look for the Cowboys to come out fast and hit the Chippewas early, forcing CMU to have to air it out against a questionable Oklahoma State secondary. The Cowboys have hit the over in 60 of their last 91 home games and in 17 of their last 25 non-conference contests. This weekend should be no different at home.
