College Football Week 1: Alabama remains 7-point favorites vs. FSU 8/28/17

Bama favored by TD vs. Florida State

With six days before kickoff of the biggest game in Week 1, Alabama remains favored by a touchdown over Florida State.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Crimson Tide remain a 7-point favorite over the Seminoles for Saturday night’s non-conference tilt at 8:00PM ET. Alabama opened as 5.5-point favorites but the line jumped to 6.5, then 7, where it currently sits. Given how well the Crimson Tide often play in its opening week, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the line reach 7.5.

As for the total, the number hit the board at 53 but has been bet down to 49.5. Both teams are expected to have excellent defenses in 2017, so college football fans could be in store for a defensive struggle on Saturday night at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
