Vanderbilt vs. Auburn Prediction
Is the point spread set to high in today’s Vanderbilt and Auburn game at 12:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Tigers are now 25.5-point home favorites versus the Commodores after opening as a 24.5-point favorite earlier this week. As for the total, the number hit the board at 45 and that’s where it currently sits at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.
Bet College Football Week 10 Games
Vanderbilt has lost 27 of its last 28 games against AP Top-25 opponents, which includes each of its last 10. The Commodores’ last win over an AP Top-25 opponent came back in 2013 when they upset No. 15 Georgia and their last road win over a ranked foe came in 2007 when they beat No. 6 South Carolina.
Auburn has won 21 of its last 23 games as a ranked team against an unranked opponent, including each of its last four. The Tigers last loss against an unranked team came back in 2014 when it fell to Texas A&M. Auburn has the third-easiest remaining schedule among SEC teams according to ESPN.com, and is favored by FBI in all but one of its remaining games (the Iron Bowl vs. Alabama on November 26). The Tigers would make it to the SEC title game if they were to win out, and Texas A&M loses at least one of its three remaining conference games.

OUR PREDICTION: Auburn has covered in five-straight games, so its due to come up short. The Tigers have the No. 3 rushing attack in college football, averaging 303.4 yards per game on the ground. But the Commodores are 27th in the nation in points allowed, surrendering just 21.4 points per contest. Vanderbilt will have issues moving the ball but once Auburn pulls away, I expect them to take their foot off the gas in the second half. Bottom line, this is too many points to lay on even a hot Tigers team.
