Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Oregon a 19.5-point favorite over Cal in Week 11. The over/under total is currently 59 points.
The Ducks remain perfect on the year at 9-0 and have covered the spread in eight of their first nine games with one push. They’re 4-0 on the road this year, although they’ve only covered in two of those four games.
The Bears are 5-4 this season and have covered five of those nine games. They’re a perfect 4-0 at home this season and covered in all four of their games at Memorial Stadium.
Our Week 11 Pick:
It’s tempting to take the Ducks seeing as how they only have to lay three touchdowns instead of their normal five or six. But the Bears are 4-0 against the number at home this season and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five overall meetings between these two teams. Oregon has been a juggernaut this season but Cal is due for one of those games where it surprises. With Arizona coming up in two weeks and a bye on the schedule next Saturday, this could be a classic letdown game for the Ducks. We pick Cal plus the points.
