According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, Notre Dame is the clear favorite in this game, as the Irish are getting odds of -15.5 points against Boston College. The over/under total for the game has been set at 42.5 points. Notre Dame has won four straight over Boston College, but the Eagles have covered the spread in four of the last five of this series. These two have hit the under in six straight meetings.

Notre Dame is 9-1 on the season, 7-3 against the spread and 5-5 with the over/under total. The Irish are coming off a 28-7 win over Wake Forest last week for their fifth straight win. ND is also expected to get C.J. Prosise back this week from a hand injury. He has helped lead ND to a 36.2-points and 468.3-yards per game average on offense. Prosise is the leading rusher this year with 975 yards and 11 touchdowns. DeShone Kizer has added 2,042 passing yards with 16 touchdowns while William Fuller has 47 catches for 937 yards and 12 touchdowns. Defensively, the Irish are giving up 21.5 points and 362.5 yards per game.

Boston College is 3-7 on the season, 4-5-1 against the spread and 8-2 with the under. The Eagles are coming off a 24-8 loss to N.C. State last week for their sixth straight loss. BC has failed to score more than 17 points in eight straight games. They rank 121st nationally in scoring (17.3 ppg) and 127th in total offense (276.6 ypg). Defensively, BC ranks first in total defense (236.5 ypg) and third in scoring (14.4 ppg). BC has been a mess at QB, using four different players. Two of them are currently battling injuries. The most successful has been Troy Flutie, who has 382 yards with three touchdowns. Tyler Rouse is the leading rusher with 303 yards and five touchdowns.
