The featured game this week is the annual Iron Bowl rivalry with No. 6 Auburn hosting No. 1 Alabama on Saturday at 3:30PM ET. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Alabama is favored on the road in this game, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -4 points against the Tigers. Alabama is 11-0 on the season, 7-0 in the SEC and 5-6 against the spread. Auburn is 9-2 overall, 6-1 in the SEC and 5-4-2 against the spread. Alabama has won three straight meetings in this series and the Tide have covered the spread in four of their last six encounters.
Another big game this week has No. 20 Stanford hosting No. 9 Notre Dame on Saturday at 8PM ET. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Notre Dame is favored on the road. The Fighting Irish are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Cardinals. Stanford is 8-3 on the season, 5-0 at home and 4-6-1 against the spread. Notre Dame is 9-2 overall, 3-1 on the road and 7-4 against the spread. Stanford has won three of its last four meetings with the Fighting Irish, but Notre Dame has covered the spread in three of the last four.
