OUR PREDICTION: Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi says he’s sticking with redshirt senior Max Browne at quarterback for today’s game. Yikes. Browne was awful against Penn State last week, completing 19-of-32 passes for 138 yards and two interceptions. Then on the other side of this matchup is Mason Rudolph, who dissected South Alabama for 335 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-7 win last Friday. I don’t like to make it a habit of laying double-digit points with a road favorite, but I’ll take the more talented team with the more talented quarterback today. Rudolph is a Heisman candidate and the Cowboys are a fringe playoff contender.
