ALABAMA: The Crimson Tide covered in both of its games to open the season, beating USC 52-6 as a 13.5-point favorite in the opening weekend of the season and Western Kentucky 38-10 as a 27-point fave last Saturday. Freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdown passes on 23-of-36 passing and 287 yards while Calvin Ridley posted nine catches for 129 yards and a score in the victory.

OLE MISS: The Rebels washed the bad taste from their loss to Florida State out of their mouths last week with a 38-13 win over Wofford last Saturday. They still didn’t cover, however, failing to do so as a 43-point home favorite. Quarterback Chad Kelly completed 20-of-27 passes for 219 yards with three touchdowns in the win, while Akeem Judd had 11 rushes for 64 yards on the afternoon.
