According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bruins are now 3-point road favorites versus the Cougars tonight after opening as a 3.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number opened at 49 and that’s where it currently sits at most sports books.

Quarterback Josh Rosen was a legitimate Heisman candidate entering the season but thus far his two performances have been rather pedestrian. After completing 26-of-46 passes for 343 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions in the season-opening loss to Texas A&M, Rosen completed 23-of-37 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown in last Saturday’s 42-21 win over UNLV. He certainly hasn’t played poorly, he just isn’t posting eye-popping numbers like other Heisman candidates around the nation have through the first two weeks.

The Cougars covered in both of their games to start the season, beating Arizona 18-16 as a 1-point favorite in Week 1 and then covering as a 3-point underdog against Utah in a 20-19 loss last Saturday night. Taysom Hill played poorly in the loss to the Utes, completing 21-of-39 passes for 176 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions, although he kept the Cougars in the game with his legs while rushing 13 times for 87 yards and two scores.
