OUR PREDICTION: Oddsmakers say they don’t “trap” bettors and maybe they don’t. But this game sure feels like a trap. Why are the Bruins only laying a field goal to an AAC team? The public must have the same thought because nearly 80% of tickets are on UCLA to cover. Here’s what I don’t like, though: The Bruins have to deal with a time change (it’ll be 9:00AM in L.A. at kickoff in Memphis), they’re banged up defensively, and Memphis has one of the better rushing attacks in the nation. Oh, and the Bruins have had trouble stopping the run. The Liberty Bowl is a tough place to play when the Tigers come out jacked (ask Ole Miss from a couple of years ago). Something is fishy about this line. I’ll take Memphis.
