Current Point Spread & Over/Under Total
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seminoles are now 10.5-point home favorites to beat the Wolfpack after opening as 11.5-point faves. FSU was a 13.5-point favorite at one point this week, but the line has dropped significantly over the past 24 hours. As for the total, the number hit the board at 53 but has dropped to 50.

N.C. State Betting Trends
The Wolfpack are an impressive 20-4 against the spread in their last 24 games following a bye week. They’re also 4-1 at the betting window in their last five true road games and have covered in eight of their last 11 games coming off a win of more than 20 points. That said, they’re just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games played in the month of September.
Florida State Betting Trends
The Seminoles have covered in four of their last five home games and are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall. They’re also a perfect 6-0 against the number in their last six games when coming off a failed cover in their previous contest. They’re 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game as well.

OUR PREDICTION: We don’t know anything about freshman James Blackman, so to lay double-digit points on a team that hasn’t played in two weeks is a risk in my eyes. N.C. State disappointed in its opener versus South Carolina and that’s what bettors remember. But the Wolfpack entered the season as one of those pesky teams that could create some upsets in the ACC. The Wolfpack held a fourth-quarter lead over the Seminoles last season at home before eventually falling 24-20. I like Ryan Finley and Jaylen Samuels to keep N.C. State within the points.
