Sun Devils, Bears primed for fireworks show
With California and Arizona State set to do battle, should fans on the West Coast expect an offensive blitzkrieg tonight?
Two schools with utterly explosive attacks come together at Sun Devil Stadium at 10 p.m. ET. According to handicappers at online sports book BetDSI, the host squad enters the contest as a 4-point favorite. The over/under is 82.
Paying no mind to controlling the clock, ASU continues to gain more and more favor with national types. The program ranks ninth nationally in points per game (48.0) and 16th in rushing offense (260.67 ypg). Thus, expect No. 1 back Demario Richard and & Co. to go to town against a Cal defensive unit that possesses containment issues galore.
Of course, the Golden Bears are coming off a 50-43 upset of then-No. 16 Texas. They’ve yet to be held under 40 points in 2016. Points will be surrendered by the D, but at the very least, it must continue to force turnovers. Through three matchups, California has picked off four passes and recovered three fumbles.

Arizona boasts the slight edge in terms of health, but we’re dissecting a largely even affair. The difference should boil down to the Sun Devils’ home lair. ASU’s also capable of mustering just enough to stops to keep this one in the high 70s.
