OUR PREDICTION: James Blackmon played well in his first start last week for the Seminoles but it still wasn’t enough for FSU to avoid being upset by N.C. State as a double-digit favorite. Still, until Blackmon is more comfortable running Jimbo Fisher’s offense, I’m leery of laying any amount of points on FSU as a road favorite. Wake can also hang defensively. The Demon Deacons rank ninth in the nation in points allowed and in what should be a defensive struggle, I’ll take the home dog.
