TEXAS A&M: The Aggies improved to 4-0 with a 45-24 win over Arkansas last Saturday night as a 7-point favorite. Texas A&M is also a perfect 4-0 against the spread, covering as a 5-point favorite versus UCLA, as a 49-point favorite versus Prairie View, as a 1-point underdog at Auburn, and as a touchdown favorite last Saturday against the Razorbacks.

SOUTH CAROLINA: The Gamecocks fell to 2-2 on the season and 2-2 against the spread after losing last week 17-10 at Kentucky as a 2.5-point underdog. Quarterback Brandon McIllwain was just 15-of-30 passing for 177 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed 13 times for only 11 yards in the loss.

OUR PICK: If South Carolina is only scoring 10 points against Kentucky then it’s not going to be able to move the ball versus Texas A&M’s outstanding defense. Pass-rushing standout Myles Garrett is questionable with an ankle injury but even if he doesn’t play, the Aggies have more than enough depth on defense to overcome his loss and suffocate the Gamecocks’ offense. The under is 7-1-1 in the Aggies’ last nine games overall and 4-1 in their last five conference games. The under is also 5-0 in the Gamecocks’ last five conference games and 8-2-1 in their last 11 home contests.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 5 PICK: TEXAS A&M/SOUTH CAROLINA UNDER  47.5
