Bet on Connecticut vs. Houston

Houston really hasn’t had any trouble on its way to a 4-0 start to the season. The Cougars are 3-1 against the spread and 1-0 in the AAC. This year’s team is putting up impressive numbers on both sides of the ball. Houston is averaging 44.8 points and 497.5 yards per game on offense while giving up just 10.5 points and 228.8 yards per game on defense. Greg Ward Jr. has thrown for 936 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense while five players have over 110 rushing yards, including 113 from Ward.

Connecticut fell to 2-2 on the season with a 31-24 loss to Syracuse at home last week. The Huskies are now 0-3-1 against the spread for 2016 and 0-1 in the AAC. The Huskies are giving up 22.5 points and 381 yards per game right now while the offense is amassing just 21.3 points and 354.5 yards per game. Houston has been moving along just fine this season and UConn doesn’t appear to be a team that can slow that down. The Cougars won’t have any problem stopping this offense of the Huskies, as they’ve stopped much better. The UConn defense also won’t pose a great challenge to the Cougars, who have moved the ball against better units. Look for Houston to win big once again.
