LSU Tigers Betting Trends

The Tigers have covered the spread in six of their last six games played in the month of October and are 4-1 against the number in their last five road games. They’re also 0-3-1 at the betting window in their last four games overall and have covered in four of their last five games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.

Florida Gators Betting Trends

The Gators are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games in October, but are just 2-5 against the number in their last seven games overall. Florida is also 3-8-1 at the betting window in its last 12 home games and is 1-7 against the spread in its last eight games following an ATS win.

Our Prediction: The Gators will start freshman Feleipe Franks under center today after Luke Del Rio suffered a broken collarbone in last week’s 14-point victory against Vanderbilt. Del Rio will miss the remainder of the season. Florida beat LSU in Baton Rouge last year after stuffing Derrius Guice from the 1 in the waning seconds of the game. Even though LSU is a mess right now, I think the Tigers will come out focused and play inspired. I’m not buying into Florida quite yet and I think Franks will struggle against this LSU defense. Now, will Guice (who is questionable) and Danny Etling be able to move the ball? We’ll see. But I have a hunch LSU will come out fired up today.
