Indiana +15.5 at Michigan State, 3:30PM ET
The line for this game is already dropping, so if you like our recommendation for the Hoosiers, jump on them now. After opening as a 16.5-point favorite, Michigan State is now -15.5 and is coming off a wild week after upsetting in-state rival Michigan last week. There’s going to be a natural letdown for the Spartans after winning on a fluke last-second botched punt in Ann Arbor. Indiana is coming off a devastating loss itself, having blown a massive second half lead in a defeat to Rutgers. But the Hoosiers also gave Ohio State everything it could handle earlier this year and seemingly plays up to their competition. Take Indiana +15.5.
Duke +3 at Virginia Tech, 3:30PM ET
The Hokies will receive a boost this week when senior quarterback Michael Brewer makes his first start since breaking his collarbone in the season opener versus Ohio State. But expect Brewer to be rusty. Duke is 5-0 against the spread in its last five road games and 9-2 ATS in its last 11 games versus a team with a losing record. The underdog is also 5-2 against the number in the last seven meetings between these two teams. Take Duke +3.
Missouri vs. Vanderbilt +1.5, 4:00PM ET
The Tigers have one of the more underrated defenses in the nation, led by a dominant defensive line. But Mizzou also has one of the least efficient offenses in the country. The Tigers rank 126th in total yards (290.4), 122nd rushing yards (103.4), and 126th in points score (16.6). They have a true freshman quarterback in Drew Lock, who has received zero help from his running game, his receivers (who drop too many passes) and his offensive line. Vandy, meanwhile, is struggling offensively as well but the Commodores have actually moved the ball more than Mizzou, they just can’t hang onto it. They’re dead last in the SEC in turnover margin but if they can protect the ball today, they should pick up a home win. Take Vanderbilt +1.5.
