Ole Miss got a key piece back this week when Laremy Tunsil re-joined the team after missing the first seven games of the season due to a suspension. Tunsil is the SEC’s best offensive lineman and will make his debut today versus A&M. Coach Hugh Freeze noted that the team had a “little extra pep” in practice this week due to the return of Tunsil.
The return of Tunsil couldn’t have come at a better time, as the Rebels will face one of the SEC’s best pass rushers in Myles Garrett. Despite being improved overall under new defensive coordinator John Chavis, the Aggies have allowed 5.7 rushing yards per carry and 70% completions in their three SEC games. Look for Chad Kelly and the entire Ole Miss offense to bounce back today.
The Aggies are just 5-13 against the spread in their last 18 conference games and are 1-6 at the betting window in their last seven games coming off a loss. The Rebels, meanwhile, are 4-1 against the number in their last five home games.
Take Ole Miss, which is a 6-point home favorite versus A&M according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI.
