Ohio vs. Toledo Prediction
Will Toledo stay unbeaten in MAC play when the Rockets play host to Ohio tonight at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Toledo is the clear favorite at home tonight, as the Rockets are getting odds of -17 points against the Bobcats. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 58.5 points. Toledo has won their last 10 meetings with Ohio and the Rockets are 3-1 against the spread in the last four meetings of this series.
Toledo is coming off a 31-17 win over Central Michigan last week to improve to 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in the MAC. The Rockets are also 5-2 against the spread this season, but just 1-2 ATS in the MAC. The Rockets have a tremendous offense that is putting up 41.3 points and 542.1 yards per game. Logan Woodside has thrown for 2,277 yards and 28 touchdowns on the year and has just four interceptions. Cody Thompson has caught 36 passes for 844 yards with nine touchdowns while Kareem Hunt has run for 740 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Toledo is also pretty solid, giving up just 22.4 points and 357.7 yards per contest.
Ohio is coming off a 14-10 win at Kent State last week to move to 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in the MAC. The Bobcats are 4-4 against the spread this season and 2-2 ATS in MAC play. Ohio is putting up 28.5 points and 413.5 yards per game on offense in 2016, averaging nearly 200 rushing yards per game. The Bobcats have four rushers with over 200 yards this year, led by Dorian Brown, who has 412 yards and two scores. QB Greg Windham has thrown for 1,282 yards and eight touchdowns to lead the offense while Sebastian Smith has caught 36 passes for 562 yards. On defense, Ohio is holding opponents to 24.3 points and 354 yards per game.

Toledo is a legit football team. The Rockets may not being given the respect they deserve nationally because of unbeaten Western Michigan taking most of the MAC headlines. Toledo has been rolling right along, but 17 points is a lot to give up to an Ohio team with a veteran coach in Frank Solich. The Bobcats have had all of their losses decided by single digits and I think they can play tough with Toledo tonight and keep things interesting.
