Colorado State Rams Game Notes
Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi was named the starting quarterback for Colorado State’s game Saturday at Colorado, Kevin Lytle of the Fort Collins Coloradoan reports. Clay Millen (undisclosed) is healthy now, so Fowler-Nicolosi being named the starting quarterback is legitimately a change of preference. The latter played relatively well in relief during Week 1, having completed 15 of 24 passes for 110 yards.
Colorado Buffaloes Game Notes
Travis Hunter totaled three catches for 73 yards and an interception during Saturday’s 36-14 win against Nebraska. The college landscape hasn’t seen a two-way player like Hunter in a while, and his record over two games echoes comparisons to Charles Woodson, who earned the Heisman due mainly to his performance on both sides of the ball. While there’s no shortage of Heisman-worthy talent in the college ranks, Hunter’s defensive ability alongside excellent offensive stats could tip the scales in his direction.

Colorado State vs. Colorado Betting Prediction
Give me the over. I don’t mind Colorado -24 but I think the better bet is taking the over. The Buffs took a while to get going last week versus Nebraska but once they got rolling, they didn’t stop. Their offense can be held in check for a quarter, only to explode for 40 points the rest of the way. Plus, while Nebraska has its issues offensively, the Cornhusker defense is solid. That’s not Colorado State. The Rams have big-time issues in the secondary and thus, Shedeur Sanders might throw for 550 yards tonight. Defensively, the Buffs are fast, aggressive and they force turnovers but they’re still susceptible to allowing big plays.
