Vanderbilt vs. Florida Odds
No. 11 Florida looks to pick up another SEC victory on Saturday when it hosts Vanderbilt at Noon ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Florida is the clear favorite at home, as the Gators are getting odds of -21 points against the Commodores. The over/under total for the game has been set at 37.5 points. Florida has won nine of its last 10 against Vanderbilt, but the two are both 5-5 against the spread in the last 10 of the series. These tow have hit the over in 9 of their last 10 meetings.
Florida is 7-1 on the season, 5-1 in the SEC, 6-2 against the spread and 4-4 with the over/under total. The Gators are coming off a big 27-3 win over rival Georgia. Florida only averages 31 points and 380.9 yards per game on offense, but the defense holds opponents to just 15.5 points and 303 yards per contest. Treon Harris has thrown for 695 yards and five touchdowns in place of the suspended Will Grier. Harris also has 122 rushing yards. Kelvin Taylor is the leading rusher with 584 yards and 10 scores.
Vanderbilt is 3-5 on the year, 1-3 in the SEC, 5-3 against the spread and 7-0-1 with the under. Vandy is coming off a 34-0 loss to Houston last week in a non-conference game. Vandy averages just 15.8 points and 361.4 yards per game on offense, but the Commodores have a solid defense that holds opponents to just 18.5 points and 323.4 yards per game. Ralph Webb is leading the offense with 693 rushing yards and four scores while Johnny McCrary has thrown for 1,499 yards with six touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Trent Sherfield has added 41 receptions for 518 yards and two scores.
