Florida St. vs. B. College Odds
No. 9 Florida State begins ACC play tonight when it hits the road to face Boston College at 8PM ET on ESPN.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Florida State is favored on the road, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Eagles. The over/under total for the game has been set at 46.5 points. Florida State has won five straight against Boston College, but the Eagles have covered the spread in the last two meetings.
Florida State is 2-0 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. The Seminoles started the year with a 59-16 win over Texas State and then defeated South Florida, 34-14. FSU is averaging 538.5 yards per game thus far on offense, while the defense is giving up 287 yards per contest. Transfer quarterback Everett Golson has been strong for FSU, throwing for 465 yards and five touchdowns this year, while running back Dalvin Cook is leading the offense with 422 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
Boston College is 2-0 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. The Eagles opened up the year with a 24-3 win over Maine and then defeated Howard, 76-0. The BC defense has been absolutely dominant thus far, holding opponents to just 51 yards per game. The offense hasn’t been too bad either, posting 421 total yards per game and 275.5 rushing yards per contest. The offense has been led by Tyler Rouse, who has rushed for 117 yards and five touchdowns. Darius Wade is the leading passer with just 185 yards and two touchdowns.
