Central Florida looks to claim its first win of the season tonight when it plays host to East Carolina at 7:30PM ET on ESPN.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, ECU is the favorite on the road, as the Pirates are getting odds of -15 points against the Knights. The over/under total for the game has been set at 54.5 points. Central Florida has won three of the last four meetings with ECU and the Knights are 5-1 against the spread in the last six in this series.

Central Florida is 0-10 on the season, 0-6 in the AAC, 2-8 against the spread and 5-4-1 with the over. The Knights are coming off a 45-30 loss at Tulsa last week. It was their seventh straight loss by double digits. UCF is averaging just 15.7 points and 278.6 yards per game this season, making it one of the least productive offenses in the country. Defensively, UCF is allowing 36.4 points and 449.5 yards per game. Justin Holman is leading the offense with 1,148 passing yards and six touchdowns, but he also has 11 interceptions. Tre’Quan Smith has added 41 receptions for 572 yards and three scores.

East Carolina is 4-6 overall, 2-4 in the AAC, 4-6 against the spread and 5-5 with the over/under total. ECU is coming off a 22-17 loss to South Florida last week for its third straight loss. The Pirates are averaging 26.9 points and 398.1 yards per game on offense this season, while the defense is allowing 28.6 points and 415.2 yards per contest. Blake Kemp has thrown for 1,873 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, but also has 10 interceptions. James Summers has also seen a lot of time under center. He has thrown for 673 yards and four scores while rushing for 443 yards and eight touchdowns. Chris Hairston is the leading rusher with 615 yards and seven scores while Isaiah Jones has caught 72 passes for 794 yards and three scores.
