According to oddsmakers at GTBets, South Carolina is the slight favorite in this game, as the Gamecocks are getting odds of -2.5 points against UNC. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 66.5 points. These two met in the opener last year with South Carolina picking up a 27-10 win, covering an 11-point spread in the process.

South Carolina is coming off a disappointing 7-6 season in 2014 where it went just 3-5 in the SEC. The Gamecocks were just 5-8 against the spread while going 7-6 with the under.
