According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Houston is the favorite at home on Saturday, as the Cougars are getting odds of -11.5 points against Vanderbilt. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 49.5 points. These two met last year with Vanderbilt picking up a 41-24 road victory.

Houston is 7-0 on the season, 5-2 against the spread and 4-2-1 with the over. The Cougars are coming off a 59-10 win over Central Florida last week for their fifth straight double-digit win. Houston now ranks fourth in the nation in scoring (47.6 ppg) and fifth in total yards (562 ypg). The defense is allowing 19.7 points and 362 yards per contest. Greg Ward Jr. is leading the offense with 1,733 passing yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for 683 yards and 15 scores. Kenneth Farrow has added 669 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while Demarcus Ayers has 50 receptions for 653 yards and four touchdowns.

Vanderbilt is 3-4 overall, 5-2 against the spread and 6-0-1 with the under. Vandy is coming off a 10-3 win over Missouri last week at home. The Commodores are 120th nationally in scoring at 18 points per game while averaging 386.6 yards per game on offense. Defensively, Vandy is holding opponents to 16.3 points and 316.6 yards per contest. Johnny McCrary has thrown for 1,475 yards and six touchdowns, but also has 10 interceptions. Ralph Webb is the leading rusher with 594 yards and four scores while Trent Sherfield has 41 receptions for 518 yards and two scores.
