Louisville vs. Wake Forest Odds
The ACC gets the spotlight tonight when Wake Forest plays host to Louisville at 7PM ET on ESPN2.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Louisville is the favorite on the road, as the Cardinals are getting odds of -11.5 points against Wake Forest. The over/under total for the game has been set at 42 points. Louisville has won its last two meetings with Wake Forest while each has covered the spread one time.
Louisville is 3-4 on the season, 2-2 in the ACC, 4-3 against the spread and 4-2-1 with the under. The Cardinals are coming off a 17-14 win over Boston College last week for their third win in four weeks. Louisville is putting up just 25 points and 387.3 yards per game on offense this season but the defense is holding opponents to 22.3 points and 315.4 yards per game. The team is led by dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has thrown for 1,135 yards and six touchdowns while also leading the team in rushing with 482 yards and six scores.
Wake Forest is 3-5 on the year, 1-4 in the ACC, 3-5 against the spread and 4-3-1 with the over. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 35-17 loss to N.C. State last week for their fourth loss in five games. Wake is struggling on offense this year, averaging just 18.6 points and 349.9 yards per contest, however the defense is holding opponents to 23.4 points and 348.6 yards per game. Wake has used two quarterbacks during the year, as John Wolford has thrown for 1,012 yards and six touchdowns but has five interceptions, while Kendall Hinton has thrown for 812 yards with two scores and four interceptions. Hinton has also rushed for 330 yards and six touchdowns.
